Why does ooolog need “Always” location access?+
ooolog logs workouts by noticing when you arrive at and leave your saved places — including while the app is closed. iOS only delivers those arrival and departure events to apps with “Always” access. With “While Using” or less, automatic logging can't work. ooolog only monitors the places you save; it never records your route.
A workout didn't log automatically. What should I check?+
Three things fix nearly every case: (1) Settings → ooolog → Location is set to “Always” with Precise Location on; (2) the place is saved in the Places tab and enabled; (3) the place's radius covers where you actually are — indoor gyms sometimes need a slightly larger radius for a reliable signal.
Does ooolog track me everywhere I go?+
No. iOS watches small geofenced circles around the places you save and tells ooolog when you cross them. Your route and continuous location are never recorded.
How do I remove a place?+
In the Places tab, delete the place. This also deletes your workout history there and any shared check-ins at that place.
How do I delete my account and data?+
Email us at support@ooolog.app from the address you signed up with and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
